‘হাল চষা’ মানে জমিতে চাষের জন্য হাল দিয়ে মাটি উল্টে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সাধারণত এটি চাষাবাদ শুরু করার প্রস্তুতি হিসেবে করা হয়।
