ロッククライミングで使われる、ロープを固定するために岩に打ち込む金属製のくさびやアンカーのこと。

'ピトン'は主にロッククライミングや登山で使われます。日常会話ではほとんど使われません。『python』（ヘビ）と混同しないように注意。
