Que não desiste facilmente ou continua fazendo algo por muito tempo, mesmo quando é difícil ou outras pessoas desistem.

Geralmente usado no sentido positivo para alguém determinado, mas pode ser negativo se indicar insistência indesejada. Usado em 'persistent effort', 'persistent problem' e 'be persistent'. Não confundir com 'consistent' (consistente, regular).
