Definición

파빌리온은 주로 공원이나 행사장에서 볼 수 있는, 가볍고 벽이 거의 없는 건축물로, 휴식이나 전시를 위해 사용됩니다. 대형 건물의 별채나 구역을 가리킬 때도 있습니다.

파빌리온은 임시적이거나 장식적인 구조물에 많이 쓰입니다. 작은 야외용 쉼터(가제보)나 천막(텐트)과는 구분하세요. 예: 스포츠 파빌리온, 전시 파빌리온.
