飛行機からパラシュートを使って飛び降りる人たち。スポーツ、軍事、救助などの目的で行われる。

この言葉は複数人数のグループについて使われることが多いです。'スカイダイバー'（スポーツ）、'パラシュート部隊員'（軍人）とは異なります。'パラグライダー'と混同しないこと。
