期待に反したり残念なことが起きた時に、それを受け入れて気にしない・仕方ないと思う時に使う表現です。

とてもカジュアルで会話的。できないことを受け入れたり、割り切る気持ちを表す。フォーマルな場面では使わない。

Oh well, it’s raining again today.

I missed the bus. Oh well.
