重要でもないことやくだらないことをして時間を無駄にすること。本気でやらずにふざけること。

主にイギリス英語で使われるカジュアルな表現。友達同士、子供がふざけたり時間を無駄にしたりする時によく使う。アメリカ英語では 'goof around' や 'mess around' が一般的。フォーマルな場面では使わない。

Please stop mucking around and finish your homework.
