কাউকে বা কর্তৃপক্ষকে গোপনে কারও অন্যায় বা অবৈধ কার্যকলাপের তথ্য দেওয়া। প্রায়ই বিশ্বাসঘাতকতার অর্থবোধক।

আইনি বা অপরাধমূলক পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; 'inform about' বা 'report'-এর চেয়ে বেশি গোপন এবং নেতিবাচক। 'police', 'authorities' এর সঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
