Definición

成語或熟語是指一種詞組或表達方式，其整體意思與單詞表面意思不同，常用於日常語言。

'Idiom' 是正式的語言學詞彙，但也常在日常語言中用於指'idiomatic expressions'。成語、熟語不能直譯，不要與'方言'或'語言'混淆。
