Definición

海や海洋に浮かぶ、大きな氷の塊。大部分は水面下にあり、水面に見えるのはごく一部です。

実際の氷山や、『tip of the iceberg』のような比喩表現の両方に使います。飲み物用の氷や小さい氷には使いません。通常単数形で使われます。

The iceberg floated slowly across the cold sea.
