Definición
Permanecer en el aire en un solo lugar sin moverse en ninguna dirección; también puede describir a alguien o algo que se queda cerca o merodea.
Notas de Uso (Spanish)
Se usa mucho para aves, insectos, helicópteros o drones. En sentido figurado, también para personas que se quedan cerca (ej: 'hovered at the door'). Es más formal que 'merodear'. En informática, 'hover over' se usa para pasar el cursor sobre algo.
