De una manera muy estricta, poco amable o demasiado severa. Puede referirse a acciones, críticas o al clima, entre otros.

Se usa normalmente para comportamientos negativos: 'juzgar duramente', 'castigar duramente', 'hablar duramente'. Es más formal o neutral, no es jerga. A menudo se refiere a un trato o crítica excesivamente severos. No confundir con 'harsh' (adjetivo).
