‘Ground’ সাধারণত বাইরের প্রাকৃতিক স্তরের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, ঘরের ভিতরের জন্য ‘floor’ ব্যবহৃত হয়। কারণ বোঝাতে 'on the grounds that...' বা 'grounds for...' বাগধারা ব্যবহৃত হয়।
