Definición

何かの端から端まで空を飛んで移動すること。普通は飛行機、鳥、他の飛ぶものに使います。

'Fly across'は場所（例：the Atlantic, the sky）とともによく使います。文字通りの場合が多いですが、物語などで比喩的にも用いられます。'Fly over'（上空を飛ぶ）と区別してください。'birds', 'planes', 'insects'と一緒に頻出。
