家族

Definición

血縁や結婚、養子縁組などで結ばれた人々の集まりで、多くの場合一緒に暮らし、助け合っている。

「家族」は両親や兄弟姉妹などの近い親族から、親戚を含む広い意味でも使います。親しく深い絆のある人々にも使われる場合があります（例：友人は家族のよう）。「親戚」とは異なります。「家族会議」などの表現に使われます。

My family lives in a small house.

私の**家族**は小さな家に住んでいます。

She has a big family with three brothers.

彼女には三人の兄弟がいる大きな**家族**がいます。

We eat dinner together as a family.
