Definición

countryman 指和你同一國家的人，也可以指住在鄉村的人。

「countryman」通常在國外時指同國人，歷史上也可指「鄉下人」，但現今多用於同胞。「compatriot」只表示同國人，請注意區分。不可用「countryman」指都市居民。

He met a fellow countryman while traveling abroad.
