寝仲間とは、同じベッドで寝る相手。また、比喩的に思いがけない仲間や協力者を指すこともある。

日常会話ではあまり使われず、文学的・比喩的表現として多用されます。'strange bedfellows'で「意外な組み合わせ」を表すのが一般的です。
