Definición

幫助某人或某事擺脫困境，特別是透過金錢或支持。字面上也指將水舀出船外，但通常用於財務或個人援助。

在財經新聞很常見（如“救助銀行”）也可指朋友間的幫助。可以正式或非正式使用。注意不要跟“bail”（交保釋金）搞混。'bail out' 是救助；'bail on' 是拋棄。

The government decided to bail out the failing company.
