宗教的な儀式で油を塗られて祝福された人、あるいは特別な役割に選ばれた人。

主に宗教や公式な場面で使われ、王や預言者、特別なリーダーについて言及する時に使う。日常的な選出には使わない。通常は受け身表現で使う。
