何かと似ているものや、同じ機能・特徴を持ちながら完全に同一ではないものを指します。また、技術分野では連続した信号を扱う非デジタルの仕組みのことでも使います。

「アナログ」は科学や技術、比較の文脈（例：アナログ時計、〜のアナログ）でよく使います。人に対しては通常使いません。
