잘못했을 때 누군가로부터 심하게 혼나거나 비난을 받는 것.

비격식적이며 강한 표현이므로 공식적인 상황에서는 피하는 것이 좋다. 누구에게 혼났는지 '에게서/한테서'로 나타낼 수 있다.
