ऐसे कथन या दावे जिन्हें कोई व्यक्ति सच मानता है, अक्सर आत्मविश्वास या ज़ोर के साथ कहे जाते हैं, भले ही वे सिद्ध न हों।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मुख्य रूप से औपचारिक, विधिक या अकादमिक संदर्भों में प्रयोग होता है। 'Assertions' आत्मविश्वास से किए गए दावे हैं, जिनके पीछे प्रमाण हो भी सकते हैं या नहीं। 'Assumptions' (मान्यताएँ) से अलग है। वाक्यांश: 'make assertions about', 'unsupported assertions'।
