'तीसरा' का मतलब है किसी अनुक्रम में तीसरे स्थान पर आना; यह किसी चीज़ के तीन बराबर हिस्सों में से एक को भी दर्शाता है।

'Third' एक क्रमवाचक संख्या (ordinal number) है और उसे एक भाग (1/3) के लिए भी इस्तेमाल करते हैं। क्रम में 'the third' और बंटवारे में 'a third' जैसे 'a third of the cake' बोला जाता है। तारीखों, खेलों और हिस्सों में आम है।
