Cuando algo ocurre por pura casualidad o sin control, se dice que es 'cuestión de suerte'. Significa que el resultado es aleatorio, como si fuera una lotería.

Expresión informal. Se usa cuando el resultado depende solo del azar, no de la habilidad. Muy común en sorteos, loterías o situaciones sin control. No confundir con 'buena suerte', ya que aquí solo importa el azar.
