Ser gustado o aprobado por alguien, especialmente alguien con poder o influencia. Las personas suelen tratar de estar en el lado bueno de un jefe o profesor para evitar problemas o recibir beneficios.

Expresión informal. Suele usarse respecto a figuras de autoridad ('estar en el lado bueno del jefe'). Implica un esfuerzo para agradar. No confundir con 'estar del lado correcto', que tiene otro sentido.
