Definition

指水果、蔬菜等食物在當季最鮮美、價格最低時。也可用來表示準許狩獵或捕魚的期間。

通常描述新鮮食材（菜單、市場常見「草莓當季」），也可指合法狩獵或捕魚期（「鹿正當季」）。相反說法是「out of season」（非當季）。

Strawberries are in season now.
