Definition
特別公演とは、王族や権威ある人物など重要な人物の要請で開かれる公演やイベントです。また、他人の期待に応えるためにやらなければならないことも指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
元は格式ある言葉で王族からの要請による公演を指しますが、今ではジョークや義務的な状況にも使われます。よく'command performanceをする'の形で用いられます。
