Weal 指幸福或福祉的狀態，也可以指皮膚被打後留下的紅腫痕跡。

Weal 指'福祉'時非常正式且過時，日常英語很少用。作為皮膚痕跡在醫學或文學中較常見。勿與 'wheel'（輪子）或 'wheal'（膿皰）混淆。
