巻かれていたものが広げられて平らになった状態を指します。紙やマットなどを開く時によく使います。

主に紙、ポスター、マット、テープなど巻いて保管する物に使います。説明書や終わった動作を表す時に使われます。'unwrap'（包みを開ける）とは違います。
