التعريف

“Township”指小鎮或鄉鎮，常指在美國、加拿大、南非等地的地方行政區，也可指有自己行政機構的農村區域。

“Township”主要用於正式、法律或行政語境。在南非，歷史上也特指給有色人種的貧民區，有特殊社會意涵。和“city”（城市）或“village”（村莊）不同。
