고통이나 두려움, 빠져나가려는 상황에서 통제 없이 격하게 몸을 움직이는 것.

비공식적이며, 주로 당황하거나 위험할 때 격하게 움직일 때 쓴다. 물속에 빠졌을 때나 당황한 상황에서 주로 사용한다. 단순히 빠른 움직임에는 쓰지 않는다.
