무엇을 하려고 갑자기 생각이 나거나 떠오르는 것. 주로 우연히, 또는 제때 생각나서 행동하게 될 때 쓴다.

"think to do"는 "remember to do"보다 덜 자주 쓰이고 약간 더 격식 있다. 즉흥적으로 생각나서 할 때 많이 쓰고, 부정문이나 놀람을 표현할 때 자주 사용한다: 'I didn't think to bring...' 처럼.
