'the other way round' का इस्तेमाल आम बोलचाल में होता है, अर्थ है कि चीज़ें एक-दूसरे की जगह पर हैं या उलटी हैं। सिर्फ़ 'पीछे की ओर' (backwards) से अलग है क्योंकि यहाँ अदला-बदली या विपरीतता प्रमुख है।
