停止了移动、做某事或使某事发生；原本正在进行的事情不再继续。

“Stopped” 是 “stop” 的过去式。可用于描述动作、机器或天气等。后面常接 “to do” 或 “doing”，意思不同。不要和表示短暂停顿的 “paused” 混淆。
