바닥에 놓인 것을 건드리지 않고 다리를 들어 넘는 것.

작은 장애물이나 바닥에 있는 것들 위를 넘어갈 때 자주 사용함. 'step across'는 더 넓은 공간을 의미한다는 점에서 차이가 있음. 예: 'step over the line', 'step over the rope'.
