다른 사람이 떠난 후 자리에 남아 있거나, 다른 사람들보다 뒤쳐지는 것을 의미합니다.

주로 수업, 회의가 끝난 뒤 남아 있거나, 다른 사람들보다 진도를 따라가지 못할 때 사용합니다. 'stay behind after class' 같이 쓰입니다.

I have to stay behind after school for extra help.
