가시조각

التعريف

나무, 유리 등에서 떨어져 나온 작고 얇은 뾰족한 조각으로, 피부에 박히면 아프다.

보통 나무에 사용하지만, 유리나 금속의 작은 뾰족한 조각에도 쓸 수 있다. 큰 조각에는 사용하지 않는다. '가시에 찔리다' 식으로 사용.

I got splinters from touching the old fence.
