সংবাদ, গবেষণা ও দৈনন্দিন ভাষায় খুব বহুল ব্যবহৃত। যেমন 'reliable source', 'main source', 'energy source', 'source of information' ইত্যাদি শব্দগুচ্ছ প্রায়ই শোনা যায়। 'sauce' শব্দের সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
