التعريف

무언가를 얇고 평평하게 자르는 것. 주로 빵, 과일, 채소 등 음식을 준비할 때 쓰임.

주로 비공식적이고 요리 준비에서 많이 사용됨. 'cut up'은 모양에 상관없지만 'slice up'은 얇고 평평하게 써는 것. 비유적으로도 쓸 수 있음.

Please slice up the bread for sandwiches.
