Se utiliza en situaciones negativas, normalmente para expresar enojo, frustración o miedo. Se usa con personas ('gritarle a alguien'), animales o cosas ('gritar a la televisión'). Es más fuerte que 'shout at'. No se usa para hablar normalmente.
