Birine doğrudan söz söylemek ya da hitap etmek.

'say to' dinleyiciyi vurgulamak için kullanılır, örn. 'say to someone'. 'tell' gibi doğrudan nesne almaz; 'say'den sonra mutlaka 'to' gerekir.
