التعريف

腐ったとは、細菌やカビによって何かが分解・腐敗し、悪臭や柔らかくなる状態を指します。主に食べ物や植物、木材について使われます。

過去形・過去分詞として使われ、「rotted wood」のように形容詞的にも使います。主に有機物や食品の劣化に使い、故障した機械などには使いません。
