特にパーティーやお祭りなどで、何かを思い切り楽しむこと。騒がしく喜びに浸る様子も含む。

文学的・フォーマルな場面でよく使われる。'revel in' は感情や状況を心から楽しむ意味でも使う。日常会話ではあまり一般的でない表現。
