कपड़े या गहने पहनना; इसके अलावा, वजन बढ़ाना या लाइट/म्यूजिक आदि चालू करना भी।

अमूमन बोलचाल में इस्तेमाल होता है। 'Put on clothes', 'put on weight', या 'put on music' जैसे प्रयोग आम हैं। औपचारिक हिंदी में नहीं मिलता।

Please put on your coat, it's cold outside.
