항상 나쁜 일이 일어날 것이라 기대하거나 상황의 부정적인 면만 보는 사람.

보통 '낙관주의자'와 대조적으로 사용됨. 'eternal pessimist' 등으로 쓸 수 있음. 일시적인 기분이 아니라 그 사람의 태도를 설명할 때 사용.

My brother is a pessimist and always expects the worst.

제 남동생은 **비관주의자**라 항상 최악을 예상해요.
