つつく突いている

التعريف

「つつく」とは、鳥のようにくちばしで何度もつついたり、何か先の尖ったもので軽くたたいたりすることです。

主に鳥に使いますが、人が軽くつついたり叩いたりする場合にも使います。「pecking order」は「序列」や「上下関係」の意味で使われます。強く叩く場合には使いません。

The chicken is pecking at the seeds.

ニワトリが種を**ついばんでいる**。

I saw a bird pecking on the tree trunk.

鳥が木の幹を**つついている**のを見た。

The baby was pecking at his food slowly.
