التعريف

浸透は、水や液体が薄い膜を通って両側の濃度を均等にする現象です。また、徐々に知らないうちに知識や考えを身につけるという比喩的な意味でも使われます。

科学的には生物や化学でよく使います。日常会話では“learn by osmosis”のように、自然に知識を身につける意味で使われます。拡散（diffusion）とは異なり、膜が必要なのが特徴です。
