Bir şeyi fark etmek veya tehlikeden korunmak için dikkatlice gözlemek ve tetikte olmaktır.

Genelde fırsat, tehlike ya da birini/durumu gözlemlemek için kullanılır. '...için tetikte olmak' şeklinde geçer. 'look out!' uyarısından farklıdır.
