التعريف

在資源不足或不理想時，設法湊合或將就著用現有的東西。

“make do”是口語表達，用於資源不夠時只能“將就”。常用“make do with...”結構；強調適應現狀，而不完全滿足。不應與“make up”或“do without”混淆。

We don't have any juice, so we'll have to make do with water.

我們沒有果汁，只能**將就**喝水了。

If you forget your umbrella, you'll have to make do with your jacket.

如果你忘了帶傘，只能用夾克**將就**一下了。

We don’t have enough chairs, but we’ll make do.

椅子不夠，但我們會**將就**一下。
