承租人是指支付费用从他人（称为出租人）处租赁财产、土地或设备的个人或公司。

“Lessee” 多用于正式、法律、合同等场合，对应关系人为“lessor（出租人）”。日常生活中常用“tenant”（住户/租客）指住宅租赁。常见于商业、房地产及设备租赁文件。
